I was born here in the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, USA:

But I am originally from a country with deep blue skies and towering mountains, Iran:

University of MemphisAlthough I have spent many years going back and forth between the US and Iran (hence adopting both cultures simultaneously), but I was lucky enough to spend some of my high school years in Iran. The days I spent in Iran has a different story. I had a zillion friends there. And memories I can never forget. Time passes and robs us like a vicious thief of all the good memories we have. When I was a kid, I read a lot of scifi stuff. And so eventually I ended up studying science, computer science at University of Arkansas. But later on I found out computer programming is not what I would like to do for the rest of my life, so I decided to get a second degree in Management Information Systems from University of Memphis. At this moment, I am working on my MBA (Master's in Business Administration) in Memphis. I joined FedEx -- the largest transportation and package delivery company in the world -- three years ago and currently I am working there as a Project Manager in the field of IT, e-commerce and ebusiness solutions.

Lets now turn to music! My VERY favorite rock band is DREAM THEATER!! Though I do admire some others like Pink Floyd and U2.

My favorite kind of music is definately Tekno and Trans! Just put a cool Tekno cd in your cd player in the car, roll down the window, turn on the volume va eshgh o safa!! I hate dombuli Iranian music, but I do listen to some nice Persian pop or hard music... like works from Assar, O-Hum, Esfahani, Aryan, and the late Farhad. I love Iranian traditional music! Its almost majestic! Click here to listen to a traditional Persian folk song.

If I were to become a musician myself, the music that I would be making would sound similar to the works of people like Michael Stearns, Steve Roach, Dan Gibson, and Hennie Bekker, all great musicians.

I believe that I would have been highly successful if I had taken an art career earlier in my life. My artistical talents are pretty good. Unfortunately, we only live a short 60 years dominated by constraints. And as far as I know, we only live once! Then its fading away into oblivion for eternity. (sad music in background).

I am a member of GREENPEACE. It makes me sad to see how some people irreversibly and carelessly destroy what took nature to create thru eons of evolution. Help save our planet! Get involved!
